Chandramukhi

He is an Extraordinaire, where his unique vision and creative prowess allowed him to craft stunning ornaments that transcend mere jewellery. His designs, characterized by their ethereal and exquisite elements, are more than just bijouterie; they are expressions of the soul embracing true authenticity. Rahul Luthra, the creative director of Raabta By Rahul, has designed jewellery for various Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, to name a few, for their wedding and ad campaigns.

However, this season Rahul has levelled up with fine jewellery for KanganaRanaut’s film Chandramukhi 2.0. Here he has created exclusive Chandramukhi looks for Kangana with extreme precision and detailed jewellery pieces.

Taking Inspiration from the age-old jewellery styles of Vijayanagar Dynasty & Khajuraho Temples, to create some extraordinary pieces for Kangana as Chandramukhi. He dug into Jyothika's character from Chandramukhi so that he understands the director's vision for Kangana. The style is primarily South Indian but with No God figures.

SoorajChand ,Kamarband , Bugudi , Bajuband, Mango Haar, bangles, Anklets,Braidornaments,Tassles, Toe rings, Septum Nose Rings, are some of the iconic styles which he designed in this collection. The jewellery is handcrafted in 22 karat gold & Sterling silver along with various precious and semi-precious stones.

Rahul designed small Bharatanatyam Jhumkis with attached ear chains called Mattals, for the neck Layered necklaces which are traditionally called as Attikai&Malai. For the waist an embellished waist belt known as ottiyanam which helps in creating a silhouette and precise dance moves for the performer which can be visibly seen by the onlookers.

He also designed beautiful Bejewelled Bindi’s in this collection though a minute details but of utmost importance for Shringaar. There are some beautiful headgears and also footwear which is designed keeping the storyline in mind.

The colour of the jewellery is essentially antique gold keeping temple Jewellery of south in mind studded with beautiful Rubies, Emeralds and Rice Pearls.Some never done before jewels include intricate Body chains & shoulder accessories, An Interesting part of the collection is that all pieces are covered with a velvet cloth at back to capture an old-world charm on these unique ornaments.
